DRMS Choir
A Choir Where Everyone Gets to Sing!
Someone starts a tune. Another voice joins in, then another, and suddenly the whole room is singing in harmony! DRMS Choir brings together singers ages 7 and up every Wednesday here in Arvada. Kids, parents, and grandparents learn songs by ear, swap favorites across generations, and find out just how good it feels to make music together. No auditions, no sheet music, and no experience needed. Just bring your voice!

Who's It For
DRMS Choir is for anyone who loves to sing, or thinks they might! It's a great fit if you:
Are 7 or older and want to sing, whatever your experience
Love music, community, and learning alongside other people
Are curious about singing in a group, without the pressure of auditions or reading music
Want a welcoming place to try something new and have fun doing it!
Picture This!
A second grader brings in their favorite K-Pop Demon Hunters song, a retiree brings in "Fly Me to the Moon," and a high schooler finds the harmony. By the end of class, everyone's singing both! That's DRMS Choir. Every singer is both a learner and a teacher, and we keep great songs alive by passing them on.
What We Sing
We'll sing folk songs, rounds, familiar favorites, and songs our singers bring in to share! Some you'll know by heart, and some will be brand-new discoveries. Everything is learned by ear with simple 2- and 3-part harmonies, so singers of every age and experience level can jump right in.
Learn By Ear
No sheet music needed! We teach every song by listening and singing it back.
Sing in Harmony
Simple 2- and 3-part harmonies that sound amazing and come together fast.
Games & Warm-Ups
Fun exercises that build your ear, your voice, and your confidence.
We don't care about perfection. We care about participation!
Sing With Choir Director, Matthew Cox!
Matthew believes singing is one of the simplest, most joyful ways people connect. He directs the choir at Columbine UUC in Littleton, studied at the Eastman School of Music, and performs across Colorado as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician. With a background in voice, strings, and piano, Matthew brings warmth, humor, and know-how to every class, and he makes sure every singer feels right at home!
