In The Fretwood, the whole class learns the same songs at the same time, but each student gets a version pitched to their own skill level. Complete beginners get simple, satisfying parts they can play on day one. Students with some experience get chords, tab, and notation layered in so they always have room to stretch.

How It Works
Everyone plays together, and everyone gets exactly the right challenge.
Every class opens with a quick review of last week and a game to get hands moving, so students are playing within the first few minutes.
The class learns the same song at the same time, with each student on a part matched to their level, from a single-string melody to a full chord progression.
Class closes with the whole group playing the song start to finish, every part stacked together. That's the moment students go home talking about.

We discovered Deeply Rooted Music School last year and ever since our 10 year old really has taken off with his skill and passion for music.
